Upside Down

Years ago at a flea market, I bought a book that I thought was a gem. A copy of Don Quijote, beautifully bound.

It didn’t look used and the price was a bargain… Maybe this should have put me on notice, right?

The surprise came on page 30, which, all of a sudden, jumped to page 60 and was also upside down.

Well, it’s not like I bought it to read. Despite being the best known Spanish book, there are many in my country who have not read it, although we do not confess it openly. 😉 We all know the adventures of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza.

I put it in my library, on the highest shelf, to make it difficult to reach. It looks great, it’s like the star of the show, the rest of the books are not so luxurious.
