My mood is not for celebrations at the moment, the Hard Drive where I keep my photo file has crashed and I can’t connect it. Also, you know, I don’t remember when I made the last copy … and it was a long time ago
Anyway, for this publication I will use my photos from Flickr.
Cavalcade of the Three Wise Men, a magical moment.
For my plasticine dolls, any excuse is good to celebrate
Thanks to Covid, these celebrations have not been seen in the streets for a long time.
Neither are these crowds of people possible now.
Despite everything, Covid, hard drives that do not work… We must not stop celebrating life!!!
Oh Ana, I’m so sorry about your drive. They can usually be resurrected by experts – we have a local company that does it, I hope you can find one. I am manic about my photo drives. I use an online company called Backblaze. It’s a bit expensive but worth it for peace of mind. That said, your images are terrific. I especially loved your little plasticine dolls celebrating, and of course your closing thought!
Thanks, Tina. Tomorrow I will take the Hard Drive to a repair service, to see if they can recover the information. For backups we are thinking of a NAS, which convinces us more than external Cloud services.
Oh no… So sorry to hear about your drive. Hope you can find a service to recover. For what you are going through, thank you for selecting photos from your Flickr and joining in. The lights of the second image is incrdible. Great capture of the first one.
I’m so sorry your hard drive crashed. I hope you recover your images. I back mine up to an external hard drive and a cloud program. I once thought I lost all my pictures and forgot to back them up to my external. Lesson learned. Your photos are great and colorful. Well done!
Thanks, Anne. I have also learned my lesson, I hope to be able to recover the photos and I am already looking to put a good backup system, which does not depend on me, but is something automatic.
I hope you manage to recover from the crash. There’s rather good software out there, but it all depends on what happened of course. Still, I’m happy to see the photos that you put here. All the best for the recovery
Hi Donna, I’m fantastic! 🤩I have had three days of vacation, tomorrow I go back to work, that is not so good, but it is two days and the weekend is coming again. The bad thing was that yesterday I tried to take the hard drive to repair and it was closed, uffffs! I will try tomorrow.
I hope you are well, take good care of yourself.
Thanks for asking 😘
Hope you sort your photo woes, Ana
