Coral Gables Biltmore Hotel

The Miami Biltmore Hotel is a luxury hotel in Coral Gables, Florida, United States. It was designed by Schultze and Weaver and was built in 1926 by John McEntee Bowman and George Merrick.

Luxurious, legendary, Spanish-inspired hotel in Coral Gables. The tower is inspired by the Giralda, the medieval tower of the cathedral of Seville. The Biltmore is the living history of the city, a place of ghosts, gangsters and celebrities.

During the 1930s and 1940s, it hosted much of the European royalty and the big stars of Hollywood: the Dukes of Windsor, Al Capone, President Roosevelt and Judy Garland among others, were regular guests.

I was just passing through when we went to spend the day in Miami, during the 15 days we were in Palm Beach and we could only visit the open areas. I loved the pool, it’s beautiful.

And I didn’t meet any celebrities, no ghosts. But it’s normal, in Florida in August there are only foreign tourists like us and few more. 😜
