Patti presents us this week an Alphabet Challenge, subjects that begin with the letter A.
Let’s start with a double. AnA.

Astonished face. That’s how I was when I saw this sewer turn into emoji. 😲

Anger. Angry at the world, sometimes, in the last…
Aquatic abstraction. Refreshing and energetic moment.
Art. The delicate work of Iris Lázaro.

Aljafería Palace is a fortified medieval palace built during the second half of the 11th century in Zaragoza (Spain).

Antwerp / Antwerpen (Belgium)
The name of the city comes from Silvio Brabo’s legend, which statue can turn in Major Plaza (Grote Markt). The legend tells that a giant so called Druoon Antigoon was living the river, receiving a toll to the ships that wanted to pass. If a ship was not paying, the giant was cutting the hand of the captain and was throwing her to the river (Schelde). One day, a Roman centurion, tired already, cut the hand of the giant and threw it to the river and of there arises the name of Antwerp, Ant = Hand, Werpen = To throw.
Archery. My husband’s hobby.

Autumnal tears
I found an added challenge, thinking in Spanish words that start with the letter A, it doesn’t always work when you want to write them in English… Well, it took me a while, but I think I finally made it…

You not only succeeded, Ana, you triumphed! Fabulous post from start to finish. And I love your explanation of why you love the letter A. Of course…A..N..A…😀. I smiled at the astonished face and was stunned by the beauty of autumnal tears. Wonderful!

The abstraction and the tear are the best photos, but the first part made me laugh, which is always good.
