Even though it seems like a century has passed, it’s only a few weeks since my son’s partner threw him a surprise birthday party. More than 40 people attended, all of them friends of my son. I am very glad that she also counted on us, his parents. It was a party of intense emotions and much joy. Perhaps one of the most exciting moments was when at the time of the gifts, my son merged into a hug with a group of his friends.
At that moment, I felt very proud of my son and saw him protected by those dear friends.
That’s what hugs are for, to spread love, tranquility and trust. I hope that this will soon pass and hugs will return.
They will return. Until then virtual hugs to all of you.

When we get out of this period of darkness, we will have to redefine what are those wonderful things we want to have in our lives. Hugs can be one of them.
Stay safe!
