Patti encourages us to go out and look for the color red to cheer up the whites and grays of winter.
It’s a great idea, although I, for now, will look for them in the archive, I haven’t taken any pictures in days.
I’ve searched for the meaning of the color red and from what I see it’s a color with very intense emotions.
“Red, the color of blood and fire, is associated with meanings of love, passion, desire, heat, longing, lust, sexuality, sensitivity, romance, joy, strength, leadership, courage, vigor, willpower, rage, anger, danger, malice, wrath, stress, action, vibrance, radiance, and determination.”

La Sagrada Familia (Barcelona) is amazing, but in this image the red sweater takes away some of the protagonism.

I like those modern and olden style trams.

Great choices for the challenge, Ana. The woman in red is intriguing. Is she a model?

It was a candid photo, I was walking with the camera when I saw the woman in red pants approach, I waited until she stood where I wanted and I shot.
Thank you, Patti 🙂

Love your choices, Ana – so much fun. I guess nothing would take away my eye from La Sagrada Familia – except a red sweater!
