Humans in the Cave

Earth's deepest boatman by Ana V. on

Continuing with my previous post of the Caves of the Drach, in which I focused more on textures and abstraction, here you can see “proof of the existence” of humans in the cave, with their inseparable mobiles, that look like an extension of the body 😉

The tour takes about an hour, the length being about 1,200 metres with a slope of 25 metres, and includes a classical music concert performed by four musicians on a boat, during the concert it was not allowed to make recording, nor to take pictures.

When the concert ends it’s possible to make a short boat trip across Lake Martel, considered to be one of the largest subterranean lakes in the world, (177 metres long and 230 metres wide).

The unequalled beauty of the caves is further enhanced by the lightning planned and set in place by the engineer Carlos Buigas.

For the incomparable beauty of these caves I would recomend the visit. These caves are open to the public year-round. The entrance fee includes the concert and boat trip.
