10x 56 Leonard St.

This summer I have spent some days in Florida and I just flew into New York for two days.    It was in this city where I find a new topic for my series “10x…”.  Remember the first one?  “10x Statice

The thing was that from many points of the city where I was, I could see this building, 56 Leonard Street.   So I decided to take 10 photos of it and this is the result…

Some information about this building:

“It’s located in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighbourhood. Developed by Alexico Group and designed by Herzog & de Meuron, 56 Leonard is a vertical glass expression of sculpted surfaces, cantilevers and sparkling glass. The form of 56 Leonard appears to become more haphazard towards its top, where 10 unique penthouses each feature up to 200 feet (61 metres) of continuous window walls.  The 145 unique residences, each with private outdoor space, range from open lofts to five bedrooms. Soaring ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass window walls reveal breathtaking panoramas of the cityscape, water, bridges and beyond. Called the most alluring addition to the downtown skyline in decades, 56 Leonard’s 17,000 square feet of amenities include a 75’ infinity pool, indoor/outdoor theater, outdoor sundeck, fitness center, treatment rooms, steam room, sauna, lounge and children’s playroom.”

I couldn’t follow the first lessons I learnt with the Statice, I hadn’t time to think, so I only took photos…  at least, it took me more than 10 minutes…
