Escenario de Turandot

At the water’s edge of the lake Constance in Bregenz (Austria), it is celebrated every year the “Bregenz Festival“.   Turandot was the opera represented this summer.

The stage wall was inspired by the world’s longest man-made structure, the Great Wall of China, the wall is criss-crossed by over two hundred terracotta warriors, some of them sky-high, others half-submerged in the water.

Due to an unexpected incident with the rental car, we could not come in time to enjoy this magnificent experience. We had bought the tickets with months of anticipation and it could not be.  I’m very sad for that!
